This is the step by step guide on how to install and upgrade the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 to 2.3.4 Gingerbread (S5570XXKPI) firmware update using or flashing it with ODIN multi downloader tool.

Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread S5570XXKPI Firmware Update Step by Step Flashing Procedures on Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 :
1) Turn off your Samsung Galaxy Mini. Remove your SIM Card and SD Card, just to avoid any issues
2) Extract the previously downloaded S5570XXKPI firmware packaged.
3) Run ODIN Multi Downloader v4.38.exe on your Desktop.




4) Tick the OPS button then select TASS.OPS from extracted archive and load it.
On ODIN check these checkboxes options: Protect OPS and Reset Time.




Click BOOT button then select and load the bootloader file:  
APBOOT_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5
Click PHONE button then select and load the AMSS file:
MODEM_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02.tar.md5 
Click PDA button then select and load: 
CODE_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5
Click CSC button then select and load:
CSC_S5570SERKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5
 (leave EFS and One Package empty) 




5) Reboot the Samsung Galaxy Mini into Download mode by pressing
( Volume Down + OK + Power ) 





6)  After you see that the device is in downloading mode, then connect the phone to PC. The COM:PORT mapping will show you a yellow indication if the device is already detected.
7)  Hit the "Start" button to start flashing...
8) Wait until the program will finished downloading all the binary files. It just takes around 5 minutes to complete. A word "PASS" will display on the left side square if the flashing successfully completes.


The Galaxy Mini will then reboot... If all things successfully done, you may then confirm the newly downloaded firmware version name etc by typing *#1234# or through About Phone Settings.

  1. Copy “upd_1.zip”file on your phone’s SD card
  2. Switch off your phone
  3. On it again in recovery mode (Hold down Middle key and press power on key)
  4. In recovery mode touch screen will not work so use volume UP/DOWN to toggle through options and middle key to confirm. Select the option “update from SD card” and hit ok
  5. Now Select the file “upd_1.zip” from memory card
  6. Wait until the confirmation screen
  7. Click on “reboot in normal mode” to restart the phone

Odin Guide: How to Install/Upgrade Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread XXKPJ Firmware

Here's a step by step guide on how to manually upgrade the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 to Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread S5570XXKPJ. This firmware is the full packaged of the latest official KIES update (Europe Version), that has been packed into stock ROM and can be flash by using ODIN tool. This can be used from those who are having bad times updating their Samsung Galaxy Mini devices via KIES update. 

This may also work if having already used or flashed the phone from previous 2.3.4 Gingerbread leakedS5570XXKPI Stock ROM. Well' this one will absolutely better than XXKPI since it is only a leaked version but this one is packed from official KIES OTA update. 

Note: this ROM is for EUROPEAN version only, if you will try to flashed it like ASIAN version, there is a possibility of some function problem issues (but not tried it).

There's  no major changes, almost just like what it was from the previous version. Just better stability, couple of icons changed and unexpectedly the battery lasts longer.

How to install or flash S5570XXKPJ firmware on Samsung Galaxy Mini using ODIN:

Download the firmware samfirmware.com:
S5570XXKPJ (CSC - S5570SERKPJ)the OPS file: TASS.OPS
and ODIN downloader program
You may need to register at samfirmware if you are not a member, then navigate in TOOLBOX>FIRMWARE> FW ANDROID> then click on Samsung S5570 Galaxy Mini and scroll down where you can download the S5570XXKPJ packaged.

- PC with Windows XP SP2 or later
- .Net Framework 2.0 or later
- Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570
- USB to Micro-USB PC data cable

This procedure will not wipe all your pre-installed application on the device since this is a single packaged, so NO WIPE will happen. 

1) Extract or unzip/unrar the downloaded firmware. S5570XXKPJ_S5570XXKPJ_S5570SERKPJ_HOME 



2) Turn off your Samsung Galaxy Mini. Remove your SIM Card and SD Card, (for beginners just to avoid any issues)

3) Run Odin multi-downloader v4.38 tool.


4)   - Click on the OPS button then select and load the TASS.OPS file.
      - Check the ONE PACKAGE checkbox. Ensure that the Auto Reboot and Protect OPS are also
         checked.
      - Click on the One Packaged button then select and load the firmware packaged.
          S5570XXKPJ_S5570XXKPJ_S5570SERKPJ_HOME.tar         

5) Boot the Samsung Galaxy Mini into Download mode by pressing
( Volume Down + OK + Power ) 




6)  The COM:PORT mapping will show you a yellow indication if the device is already detected. Connect the phone to PC, after you see that the device is already set in downloading mode.

- Once all set perfectly, then hit the "START" button to begin flashing the firmware. 


7) Do not touch anything until the program will finish the downloading process. It just takes around a minutes to complete. A word "PASS" will display on the left side square if the flashing successfully completes.

Once successfully completes, the phone will then reboot, you may then remove it from the computer.
You may then change the default language according to your locale or region..  
You can also confirm the newly installed firmware version name etc by typing *#1234# or through About Phone Info Settings. That's it...

HTC Sensation

Ok, dah ready?Pastikan HTC decvices anda telah dicharge full kalau boleh, sebab banyak process yang akan dilakukan oleh tool tersebut. Anda boleh download tool tersebut di sini,http://revolutionary.io/ & selepas click ke link tersebut, JANGAN terus tutup page tersebut sebab dia akan ada expand satu beta key form yang diperlukan dalam process S-off nanti...

  1. First of all, pastikan anda enable usb debugging HTC device anda(setting>applications>development>tick usb debugging) & run revolutionary utility drpd file yg anda baru download tadi & lagi bagus kalau extract file tadi(kalau ada install HTC Sync, sila uninstall, kalau x tahu HTC Sync tu apa, tak perlu buat apa2)....
  2. So, anda boleh start connect device anda ke komputer dalam "charge only" atau "htc sync" mode...dan tool tersebut akan tulis macam ni, "Found your Device: HTC Sensation Z710*", dan akan tertulis version HBOOT device sekali dengan serial number. Then, dia akan minta beta key.
  3. Pergi balik ke page yang ada beta key form tadi dan tulis balik apa yang diperlukan(ATTTENTION : hati2 bila masukkan balik serial number). 
Selepas tu, anda generate beta key dan masukkan ia dalam ruangan kosong di revolutionary utility dan tool tersebut akan menjalankan process secara automatik, bila dah habis reboot(ada banyak kali reboot dalam process dia), device anda telah berjaya S-OFF. 




HTC Wildfire (Buzz)

Bagi yg HBOOT version 1.01.0002 boleh downgrade guna guide ni,http://androidforums.com/wildfire-all-things-root/387431-s-off-root-flashing-method.html  

atau

(Ada complain yg HTC mereka ada problem sikit bagi yang nak flash daripada carrier-branded version[ 1.01.0002 ] ke unbranded  WWE version[ 1.01.0001], tp kalau anda boleh flash RUU WWE, maka Wildfire anda tidak sepatutnya ada masalah untuk guna cara ini)

 - Anda boleh flash menggunakan RUU : RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.22.405.1_Radio_13.55.55.2 4H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed.exe


- Lepas habis download, rune .exe file tu tapi pastikan dah usb debugging & select "charge only" sebagai connection method....dan kalau tiada masalah anda akan ada HBOOT version  1.01.0001 & mula process S-Off....


HTC Desire




S-off untuk desire tidak perlu (anda boleh flash custom rom walaupun s-on, tapi kena root dengan kaedah unrevoked) melainkan jika anda ingin menukar internal partition table.

Oleh sebab Desire mempunyai internal memory yang kecil (512MB), kebanyakan custom ROM (Sense ROM) berkehendakan ada ext3/ext4 partition dekat SD-Card. So, kena buat partition lah.

Utk rom desire ext3/4 partition adalah samada 512Mb atau 1GB. Kegagalan membuat partition yang betul akan membuatkan fon anda dalam keadaan bootloop (stuck dekat logo HTC. Sesetengah Sense rom jugak memerlukan anda ukt flash "Alignment EXT4 partition"

* b4 flashing/patching anything else in system, make sure system partition has enough space for that...there4 bootloop...upload Ur mod. Here will make it for Cool Rom's.

8. Bile Odin dah detect hp korg..press start pastu g makan kopok ngn bancuh air oren. Tunggukt Odin tu sampai die tulis pass!

9. Disconnect n check FW korg..same x ngan yg korg flash tadi :)

download version yang same n rom korg taw..CF-Root ni ok sbb kernel ni fully stock. die just add :

2. Pas da download CF-Root tuh bole la korg stat Odin

4. Enter Download mode kt S2 korg..care nk masuk download mode, first korg off dlu hpkorg..pastu bile dah off tekan volume down + menu + power button :)

5. Connect hp korg pkai data cable..

6. Bile Odin dah detect hp korg..press start pastu g makan kopok ngn bancuh air oren. Tunggukt Odin tu sampai die tulis pass!
