How to S-Off ( & Root ) Your HTC Devices

BACA & SIMPAN MAKLUMAT INI  : Sebelum root/s-off kan peranti anda sila screenshot atau salin & simpan di tempat selamat [ seperti email anda sendri]. Maklumat ini sangat penting untuk tujuan unroot [ kembali kepada sistem asal untuk tujuan baikpulih {hantar kedai HTC- repair}]

- Build Number [daripada settings -> about phone -> software]

- Fingerprint & versi bootloader : periksa sama ada anda punya RUU versi Htc_asia_wwe atau wwe

       Take attention to no di sebelah device ialah version HBOOT yg disupport oleh Revolutionary tools, kalau HBOOT anda xde dalam list, kena flash HBOOT yg dalam list kalau nak guna S-OFF tool ni...

Bagaimana nak periksa versi HBOOT ? a. Shutdown telefon anda.b. Hold the [Lower volume] button and press the [Power] button dan akan arrive ke page seperti di bawah. Page ni(BOOTLOADER) akan beritahu korang samada masih S-ON/S-OFF, Versi HBOOT, Versi radio.

HTC Sensation

Ok, dah ready?Pastikan HTC decvices anda telah dicharge full kalau boleh, sebab banyak process yang akan dilakukan oleh tool tersebut. Anda boleh download tool tersebut di sini,http://revolutionary.io/ & selepas click ke link tersebut, JANGAN terus tutup page tersebut sebab dia akan ada expand satu beta key form yang diperlukan dalam process S-off nanti...

1. First of all, pastikan anda enable usb debugging HTC device anda(setting>applications>development>tick usb debugging) & run revolutionary utility drpd file yg anda baru download tadi & lagi bagus kalau extract file tadi(kalau ada install HTC Sync, sila uninstall, kalau x tahu HTC Sync tu apa, tak perlu buat apa2)....
2. So, anda boleh start connect device anda ke komputer dalam "charge only" atau "htc sync" mode...dan tool tersebut akan tulis macam ni, "Found your Device: HTC Sensation Z710*", dan akan tertulis version HBOOT device sekali dengan serial number. Then, dia akan minta beta key.
3. Pergi balik ke page yang ada beta key form tadi dan tulis balik apa yang diperlukan(ATTTENTION : hati2 bila masukkan balik serial number). 

Selepas tu, anda generate beta key dan masukkan ia dalam ruangan kosong di revolutionary utility dan tool tersebut akan menjalankan process secara automatik, bila dah habis reboot(ada banyak kali reboot dalam process dia), device anda telah berjaya S-OFF.

HTC Wildfire (Buzz)

Bagi yg HBOOT version 1.01.0002 boleh downgrade guna guide ni,http://androidforums.com/wildfire-all-things-root/387431-s-off-root-flashing-method.html  

atau

(Ada complain yg HTC mereka ada problem sikit bagi yang nak flash daripada carrier-branded version[ 1.01.0002 ] ke unbranded  WWE version[ 1.01.0001], tp kalau anda boleh flash RUU WWE, maka Wildfire anda tidak sepatutnya ada masalah untuk guna cara ini)

 - Anda boleh flash menggunakan RUU : RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.22.405.1_Radio_13.55.55.2 4H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed.exe

- Lepas habis download, rune .exe file tu tapi pastikan dah usb debugging & select "charge only" sebagai connection method....dan kalau tiada masalah anda akan ada HBOOT version  1.01.0001 & mula process S-Off....

HTC Desire

S-off untuk desire tidak perlu (anda boleh flash custom rom walaupun s-on, tapi kena root dengan kaedah unrevoked) melainkan jika anda ingin menukar internal partition table.

Oleh sebab Desire mempunyai internal memory yang kecil (512MB), kebanyakan custom ROM (Sense ROM) berkehendakan ada ext3/ext4 partition dekat SD-Card. So, kena buat partition lah.

Utk rom desire ext3/4 partition adalah samada 512Mb atau 1GB. Kegagalan membuat partition yang betul akan membuatkan fon anda dalam keadaan bootloop (stuck dekat logo HTC. Sesetengah Sense rom jugak memerlukan anda ukt flash "Alignment EXT4 partition"
